witperch is for fun. These terms cover what the service is, what you can expect from it, and what we expect from you. By using witperch you agree to them.

1. What witperch is

witperch is a free entertainment service that generates humorous, made-up definitions of words using artificial intelligence. It is operated by Mobiglance SRL, a company registered in Romania (registration number 49970612).

2. The definitions are jokes, not facts

Definitions on witperch are AI-generated humor — not a real dictionary, not factual, and not advice of any kind. They are frequently absurd by design and may be inaccurate, nonsensical, or unexpectedly off-colour. Do not rely on them for anything: not for the meaning or spelling of a word, and certainly not for legal, medical, financial, academic, or any other purpose. Don't cite them in your essay.

3. Acceptable use

Please use witperch reasonably. You agree not to:

• abuse, overload, or attempt to disrupt the service, or circumvent rate limits or other technical protections;
• scrape, bulk-download, or resell the service or its content through automated means without our permission;
• use the service to generate, promote, or distribute unlawful content, or to harass or harm others;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or data.

We may rate-limit, suspend, or block access that breaches these terms or threatens the service's availability.

4. Availability

witperch is provided free and "as is". We don't guarantee it will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free, and we may change, limit, or discontinue any part of it at any time.

5. Intellectual property

The witperch name, branding, design, and code are owned by us. The generated definitions are produced by an AI system; we make no claim that any individual definition is original or protectable, and we provide them without any warranty as to ownership. You keep responsibility for the words you choose to search.

6. Reporting content

If a definition is offensive or otherwise objectionable, please tell us at contact@mobiglance.com and we'll review it. We can remove or regenerate definitions at our discretion.

7. Disclaimers & liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, witperch and its operator exclude all warranties and are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the service or its AI-generated content. Because witperch is a free entertainment service, this is a deliberate and reasonable allocation of risk.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable mandatory law, including your statutory rights under EU and Romanian consumer-protection law.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Changes take effect when posted here, and the "Last updated" date will reflect them. Continuing to use witperch after a change means you accept the updated terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Romania, and disputes are subject to the competent Romanian courts — without affecting any mandatory consumer-protection rights or the jurisdiction of the courts of your country of residence in the EU/EEA where applicable.
